About Playa de Torreblanca
The westernmost of Fuengirola's beaches, Torreblanca offers a wide sweep of fine sand with a notably more relaxed atmosphere than the town centre beaches. Named after the 16th-century watchtower that still stands nearby, this beach stretches for over a kilometre and rarely feels crowded even in August. The seafront promenade connects to central Fuengirola, making it perfect for long walks. Several excellent chiringuitos dot the beach, with Restaurante Torreblanca being a particular favourite for its spectacular paella and fresh fish. The adjacent residential area is popular with both Spanish and international buyers, offering good-value beachfront and near-beach properties.
