Named after the submarine telegraph cable that once came ashore here, Playa del Cable is a well-kept local beach in the eastern section of Marbella's seafront. The golden sand is fine and clean, the waters are typically calm and clear, and the beach rarely feels overcrowded. The promenade connects it to Marbella town centre, and several good chiringuitos provide shade, food, and drinks throughout the day. The surrounding residential area, a mix of traditional Marbella apartments and modern developments, gives it an authentic, lived-in feel. Morning joggers and evening strollers use the beachfront path regularly. An excellent everyday beach for residents.
