About El Chaparral Golf Club

Nestled between the sea and the Sierra de Mijas, El Chaparral is a hidden gem with a natural, undulating par-72 layout that feels more like a countryside escape than a resort course. The varied terrain, featuring doglegs, blind shots, and subtle elevation changes, keeps every hole interesting and rewards local knowledge. The course is well-maintained with good greens and interesting bunkering. The cosy, unpretentious clubhouse has a popular restaurant known for its traditional Spanish cooking and generous portions, a friendly bar, and a small pro shop. Green fees represent some of the best value on the coast, making it a local favourite. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere is a refreshing change from the more formal club environment. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green.
