The Lakes course at Mijas Golf is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. masterpiece featuring water in play on 13 of 18 holes, hence the name. The par-73 layout is set in a natural mountain amphitheatre surrounded by the Sierra de Mijas, creating a dramatic backdrop for every shot. Jones's signature strategic bunkering combines with the ever-present water to create a genuine championship test. The shared clubhouse with Los Olivos is large and well-equipped, featuring a popular restaurant with mountain views, a lively bar, extensive pro shop, and spacious locker rooms.
